Instead, dig a little deeper and open the BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets\data folder. DON'T LOAD the whole Battletech_Data folder at once, it's far to big and will take eons to succeed (if it doesn't just crash). Paste the path to the folder or click the pined shortcut you created. You might want to copy the path to that folder or pin it for future use. If you own it outside of steam or know where to find the folder, just open it. All the good stuff is in the BattleTech_Data folder. If you own it on steam, go to steam, click on the game's page, click the little gear on the top right of the page, click properties, in the new window click the local files tab, click browse local files. You obviously will need the game files, and unlike MWO this game is not a F2P, but chances are high you already own it if you're hanging in theses parts ) The tool I used is AssetStudio, you can get it on Git Hub, the latest release will be RIGHT HERE. Harebrained Schemes worked with Unity, so first thing is to find a way to unpack the data of the game. But BATTLETECH has land vehicles, and I want to print them! they come in parts (loads of 'em), there are fewer chassis than in MWO, and the models are strictly identical (Piranha games must have licensed the models to Harebrained Schemes).
